| This move causes Blue Beetle to hover in the air. Dashing forward mid-air will propel him forward. Up/towards to advance, Up/away to retreat, and just up to rise higher up. If you want to get down, just press down. You can attack while in Flying Scarab and use Energy Cannon to protect the skies. | |

Supermove
Shape Shifter allows Blue Beetle to stick a spike out of his torso. If it connects then Blue Beetle is able to attack his foes with blade arms, spiked ball hands, and lastly a giant cannon to blast any opponent away.
Character Power
Ancient Scarab is a buffing ability that gives Blue Beetle power blades for all of his melee attacks. However, he loses the ability to use Energy Cannon, and any other non-melee attacks. This is a good power to use if you're ready for a slugfest as it gives your fists a little range and more damage. Don't use them if you're trying to use your Energy Cannon to fight from a distance or if you're low on health as the blades make you a bigger target.

Tips
Blue Beetle has a very strong projectile game. Feel free to sit back and pepper your opponent with your Energy Cannon. If they get too closr to you then you can try your Blade Stab to prevent anyone from jumping in on you.
Background
Jaime Reyes sought Batman's help in learning to use the Scarab, an alien weapon of mass destruction bonded to his spine. Although the Scarab could pose a deadly threat to the entire planet, kindhearted Jaime is determined to protect people, wary of the corruptive influence of great power he witnessed under the Regime.
